The chain
Every block holds on to the one before it
The last line of a block is its parent's hash — and the very same string opens the block below it. The top pair shows it straight away; hover any other block and both of its links light up, the one holding it and the one it holds. The feed stops under the cursor, because two sixty-character lines cannot be compared while the window keeps moving.

What you can look up
What this page knows about Ethereum
Ethereum is the only network here whose blocks report gas — how much of the limit was spent, and which address assembled the block. An address resolves too, with its balance, but the node keeps no transaction history for it, and the page says so rather than showing an empty list.
